Adventa Job Fair features hundreds of Jobs and expert facilitated workshops

Toronto, ON, September 1, 2005 – Adventa Job and Career Expo Inc. announced the list of employers, career and employment service providers, and others that are expected to feature in this year’s Adventa Job and Career Expo. This year’s event is being held on September 08, 05 (Thursday) at Holiday Inn located at 7095 Woodbine Avenue (Woodbine and Steeles).

The Adventa Job and Career Expo is being presented in partnership with OMNI Diversity Television, CMR Diversity FM 101.3, and Myron, The Leader in Personalized Gifts. Jobseekers and aspiring entrepreneurs will also benefit from the expertise of the Toronto Business Development Center (TBDC), Certified Resume Professionals from Resume Resources Inc. and that of FranNet, The Franchise Connection.

Tharsini Yoganathan, Director for Marketing and Sales at Adventa Job and Career Expo, today released the list of participating companies and said ‘we are extremely pleased with the employers, agencies, and organizations attending this year’s event. We are pleased to announce that companies like HSBC will be conducting interviews on the day of the event’. It is expected that several thousand jobseekers will attend this year’s event.

‘The focus of this year’s event is to give an opportunity for all our jobseekers to find something of interest to them and we have strived to make sure of that. For those people who are looking for a career in sales and retail, we have companies like Myron, Staples Business Depot, and several agencies attending, she continued.

‘We are also pleased to announce the attendance of many major uniformed services such as the Toronto Police Services, Toronto Fire Services, OPP, RCMP, Canadian Armed Forces to name a few. For the first time, Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) will also be attending Adventa Job and Career Expo,’ said Ms. Yoganathan.

Nearly 50 establishments are featured in this year’s Adventa Job and Career Expo. In addition, the jobseekers will also benefit from expert facilitated workshops on Job search, Career, Entrepreneurship, and Accreditation of Foreign Credentials, to name a few. Certified Professional Resume Writers will also be in attendance to provide free Resume Assessment. Admission fee is only $2.
