Adventa’s second annual expo held at the Holiday Inn on September 08, 05 drew more than 4000 people and more than 50 exhibitors. This event also included an array of workshops aimed at providing job search related tips, information about various employers, and about career options. Adventa Job and Career Expo 2005 was sponsored by Myron, OMNI TV, CMR FM 101.3. FranNet, BizLaunch, Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC), and Resume Resources Inc. were the Strategic Partners for the event.

Expo 2005 Attendee Profile:
Mix of Maturity, Experience, and Youth

• 24% of the attendees were aged 18-24; 38% were between 25 and 35; 20% were between 36 and 45, 8% were aged above 46.

• 34% were looking for an entry level position; 22% of the attendees were looking for a junior position; 14% of the attendees had years of experience and were looking for senior positions; 12% had a combination of years of experience and education and were looking for managerial positions; and 10% of the Jobseekers at the Adventa Job and Career Expo 2005 were individuals with demonstrated managerial and leadership abilities and were looking for executive positions.

Highly Educated Candidates

•  62% of those who attended had a Bachelors or a Masters degree; 22% had a diploma; 14% of the attendees had finished their high school.
